About this random picker tool
This random name picker chooses a winner from any list. Paste names for a classroom, entries for a giveaway, chores, restaurants or anything else – one per line – and Pickle bounces through the list before landing on the winner.
Turn on “remove the winner” to draw several winners in a row without repeats, or press shuffle to put the whole list into a random order (handy for presentation order or turn order). Your list stays in your own browser.
How to use it
- Type or paste your list, one item per line.
- Press “Pick a winner” and watch the highlight bounce around.
- Use “Shuffle list” for a random order of everyone.
Random Picker FAQ
Is the random name picker fair?
Yes. The winner is selected with a cryptographically secure random number, and every entry has the same chance of being picked.
Can I pick several winners without repeats?
Yes. Tick “Remove winner after picking” and keep pressing the button – each winner is taken out before the next draw.
How many names can I add?
Up to 200 entries. Duplicated lines count as separate entries, which you can use to give someone extra tickets.
